At Same Day Oil Delivery, we keep payments simple, secure, and transparent.

Accepted Payment Methods

• ✅ All major credit cards (preferred)
• 💵 Cash (must be ready when driver arrives)
• ❌ We do not accept personal checks.

Locked-In Pricing

Your per-gallon price is locked at the current advertised price on the day you schedule your delivery, regardless of whether you pay by credit card or cash.

• 💳 Credit card customers may schedule deliveries up to 7 days in advance and keep the guaranteed locked-in rate.
• 💵 Cash customers must provide payment when the driver arrives, but the price is still based on the advertised order-day price, not the day of delivery.
• 📊 Final charges are always adjusted to reflect the actual gallons delivered and the correct price tier for that volume.

Credit Card Payments

• Pre-Authorization: Your card is pre-authorized before delivery to secure funds.
• Final Charge: Once delivery is complete, the pre-authorization is converted into a charge for the actual gallons delivered at your locked-in price.

Pre-Authorization Examples

• If you order 150 gallons and your tank accepts 175 gallons:
  The pre-authorization for 150 gallons will finalize as one charge. The additional 25 gallons will appear as a second charge.
• If you order 150 gallons and your tank only accepts 100 gallons:
  The original pre-authorization will fall off, and a new charge will appear on your card for the correct 100-gallon amount.

Will-Call Order Expectations

If you are not on automatic delivery and place a will-call order, our expectations for gallons are solely based on the information you provide. We have no way of knowing how much oil is already in your tank. If you request a fill, the actual delivery could be more or less than you anticipated.

Fill-Up Orders (More or Less Than Expected)

• If your tank takes more than expected: You may move into a lower price tier, and you’ll receive the lower per-gallon price for the full delivery.
• If your tank takes less than expected: You may move into a higher price tier, since smaller deliveries cost more to make.
  Example: You expected 200 gallons, but the tank only accepts 45. You’ll be charged at the 45-gallon tier.
• Just because fewer gallons were delivered doesn’t always mean your per-gallon rate will be higher — but if the smaller delivery falls into a higher tier, that is the rate you’ll be charged.

Fixed-Gallon Orders

If you order a fixed number of gallons, we will never deliver more than that amount. If your tank cannot accept the full amount, delivery stops when the tank is full, and you are only billed for the gallons delivered. Your final charge will reflect the correct tier for the smaller delivery.

Cash Payments

• Cash must be ready when the driver arrives.
• Drivers cannot wait for you to return home. If you won’t be there, please arrange for someone on site to provide payment.
• Cash deliveries are billed at the advertised price on the day you scheduled your order, not the day of delivery.
• Because routes are tightly scheduled, cash orders cannot receive guaranteed delivery time windows.
• 👉 For convenience and certainty, credit card payment is strongly recommended.
